As previously described, writing of contents for a site is in no way STOWS-specific. The author can use any HTML editor or HTML export tool from an arbitrary editor to create the source files containing the site contents.
As far as templates are concerned, at least some manual coding is required, for bringing the STOWS directives into them. Finally, the simplest way of coding the description file is to do it manually, although a combined HTML editor + manual coding approach, as for the templates, can be applied, too. But, the description file it itself so simple that a HTML editor is not really needed.
We shall describe the usage of STOWS on the example of this manual. Some features, not used in the manual, will be described separately. Bear in mind that the structure of this manual is intentionally more complicated than necessary, in order to show you as many of its features as possible.
